Executive Director, Dr. Plashan McCune

Experienced educational administrator with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Skilled in Strategic Planning, Curriculum Development, Public Speaking, Staff Development, and Educational Leadership. A leader in implementing Restorative Justice Practices & Mediation, Trauma-Informed/Sensitive Training & Coaching, Individual & Staff Development. Author of Trauma and Postsecondary Success a Framework for Implementation. Founder and Chair of The African American Young Ladies Summit Program.

Built on over 35 Years of Experience​

Higher Learning U Inc. is a 501-c-3 non-profit that provides educational support in the form of programs, training, coaching, and modeling to help change the outcomes for adults and students. Training opportunities are offered nationwide and include: Eliminating the Achievement Gap Through Successful Implementation and Trauma-Informed, Culturally Responsive, and Restorative Practices How They Work Together for the Success and Heal Of Our Children. The book, Trauma and Postsecondary Success A Framework for Implementation is the foundation text for the coursebook study and the work we do at Higher Learning U Inc.
