About Us: Higher Learning U (HLU), based in Colorado with global roots, is the birthplace of the African American Young Ladies Summit Program (AAYLS). We’re committed to empowering Black girls through leadership, academic excellence, and personal growth. Chalet D’Espoir will serve as a vital space for our programs and much more: STEAM camps, mental health retreats, and sanctuaries for families in need.
